Thelma Garnet Johnson

Thelma Garnet Johnson, age 95, passed away on November 1, 2014. She is survived by her two sons Sanford (and Daughter-in-Law, Yolanda) Johnson and Dale Johnson. She has been blessed with three grandchildren- Cynthia Johnson McCauley (husband, Stan), Matthew Johson (wife, April) and Christopher Johnson. She also has seven great-grandchildren: Cameron, Alyssa, Katerina, Matthew, Jonathan, Hailey, Brandon & Hope. Thelma and her late Husband Hilmer, were happily married for 31 years before he passed away.
Thelma was an avid bingo player and church-going woman. She loved reading, doing jigsaw & crossword puzzles. She often went on turn-around trips to Las Vegas and would come home to spend time with her family. She was known at her churches--Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Garden Grove & Our Saviors Church in San Bernardino. She volunteered her time, weekly, to feed the poor at both churches.
Services for Thelma are as follows:
--Visitation: Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 5-9pm at Green Acres Chapel
--Service: Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11am at Green Acres Chapel, followed by committal at Green Acres Memorial Park.
