Mrs. Johnson was born, February 12, 1918 to Herbert and Edith (Miners) Gass in Edgar, NE. She graduated from Edgar High School. Edgar, NE. She then married Edor L. Johnson, June 14, 1942 in Edgar, NE. He preceded her in death January 17, 1979. She worked at the N.A.D. during the war. She was a housewife and mother for many years. Later she was a teacher's aide at Spencer Park and Watson Schools in Hastings, NE, and then later she worked with children at Pooh Corner and the Children's Ark, Hastings, NE, retiring in 1988.
She is survived by, 2 daughters, Judy Berding of Hastings, NE, and Gwenda Groshans of Montreal, MO. 1 son, Steven of Hastings, NE, 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. 1 sister, Charlene Harvey of Bay City, Michigan.
She is preceded in death by, 2 brothers Byron and Vernon Gass.
