She was born on March 17, 1925, in Mabel, the daughter of Lloyd and Florence (Turner) Williams. She married Ronald (Pilly) Johnson on May 7, 1954. The couple was lifelong residents of Spring Grove.
Johnson worked for many years at Mansfield Industries in Spring Grove. She enjoyed her years spent as a dance instructor at the school she ran - Lois' School of Dance. Most recently she was employed by Thrivent Financial.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time she spent with her family. She took much pride in her son and grandchildren's accomplishments.
She had many friends in the Spring Grove community and especially enjoyed the friendships she formed through her participation in church circle.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald (Pilly) Johnson of Spring Grove, son Rick (Flo) Ristey of Plover, Wis., her grandson, Mark (Shelley) Ristey of Columbus, Wis., her great-grandson Gage, and her brother Sunny (Eunice) Williams of Mabel.
Her parents and two sisters, Elnora Koenig and Juanita Narum, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. The Rev. Stephanie Frey will officiate. Friends may call Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Spring Grove.
