She was an active member of Asbury M.E. Church and prominently connected with The King's Daughters and vice president of the Epworth League, both organizations connected with the church. Rev Ernest Williams officiated at the service. Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. She left six children, Estella, Gustave, Marie, Walter, Tollie and Ethel Caution. Other survivers include her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson and her brothers and sister, Howard, Oscar, Jerome, and Nellie.
