Nancy Elizabeth Johnson, age 73, of Macon, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was born June 10, 1939 in Higgston, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ouida Powell; husband, Lonnie Horace Johnson, Jr.; and daughter, Sandra Johnson.
Nancy is survived by one son, Lonnie Wayne Johnson of Macon, GA; one daughter, Gail Johnson Murray and husband Joe also of Macon, GA; seven grandchildren, Richard, James, Lonnie, and Donnie Murray, and Harley and Makenna Johnson all of Macon, GA, and Curtis Johnson and wife Britney of Thomasville, GA; five great-grandchildren; sister, Cathy Schultz of Warner Robins, GA; best friend and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Dickens of Ponce de Leon, FL; sister-in-law, Evelyn Web and husband Jack of Macon, GA.; close friend, Brad Parrish of Byron, GA; special nieces, Tammy Wood Waller of Rightsville, GA and Debra Sasnett and husband Weldon of Ponce de Leon, FL; and numerous other extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 18, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery in Macon, Georgia beginning at 2 p.m. with Brother Joel Davis officiating.
