| Birth: | Aug. 2, 1937 | | Death: | Oct. 3, 2005 |  Floyd Paul Johnson, 68 of Conroe, was released of his earthly bonds to dwell forever with our heavenly Father, on October 3, 2005.
He was born in Pasadena on August 2, 1937 to the late Julia Jane Johnson.
Floyd was a long-time member of Structural Iron Workers Local 84. After retiring from iron working, he worked for nine years in the tool department at Lowe's.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mavis D. Johnson; son Paul G. Johnson and wife Cindy C. Johnson; two grandsons Jacob and Joshua Johnson; sister Audrey Lewis; twin brother John E. Johnson and wife Yoshika; and a special sister-in-law Josephine D. Manning and husband Bill.
Besides his mother, he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Darlene Johnson.
Floyd's legacy will live forever in the memories of his family and friends, and in the expansive skyline of Houston, which, as a constructional ironworker, he helped build. No more honest, hard-working man ever lived.
