Barbara Mae Allen, 92, affectionately known as "Bob", passed away on February 1, 2012. She was born in San Saba County, Texas on May 24, 1919 to James Harvey (Turkey) and Ella Tow Johnson. Mrs. Allen lived her whole life in Texas.
Her husband, Sid Allen, her parents and her brother, J.T. Johnson, preceded her in death,
Surviving is her son, Andrew S. Allen III and his fiancé, Linda Leitch; by grandsons Andrew S. Allen IV and wife Robin, Thomas O. Allen and wife Lindsey; granddaughter, Naomi A. Allen; four great grandchildren; and her sister Millie Ward of Bluffton, Texas.
Services were held on February 4, 2012 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar, Austin. Internment followed at Austin Memorial Park.
