"Mrs Violetta, wife of C. F. Allison died at her home in Germantown after a lingering illness of 10 months. She leaves a husband and five children. Funeral arrangements will be made tomorrow." - February 17, 1899

"Funeral Notice: The funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Violetta Allison will be held this morning at 10 o'clock from the residence on Anderson St. The remains will be taken overland to Glenburn for burial." - Daily News, February 18, 1899
