Alice Johnson Archer
Alice Johnson Archer, age 90, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014. Services will be held at 11:00 Tuesday, August 5, at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Oliver and Rev. Pete Aycock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Archer was a native of Washington County and lived in Baldwin County. She was retired from Baldwin County DFACS. She was preceded in death by her parents Alva and Laura Bell Brown, her husband Wilbur Hines Archer, her brother Wyman "Buddy" Johnson. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son Lynn Archer, two daughters Linda Morrison (Fred) and Rita Young all of Milledgeville, three sisters, Vera Wood of Gordon, Audrey Veal and Nancy Timms both of Milledgeville, 6 grandchildren: Aaron Archer, Ryan Archer and Levi Archer, Niki Simmons, Jason Roberts and Jessica Rose, 3 step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moores Funeral Home.
Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.
