Vera Johnson Bass, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998.
Survivors include four sons, the Rev. Hayward Bass of Odom, Joseph M. Bass of Sylvester, C. Wayman Bass of Jackson and Scottie Bass of Milledgeville, a daughter, Linda Nell Shelton of Moultrie; a brother, Jesse Johnson of Valdosta; two sisters, Betty Egan and Mamie Summerlin, both of Moultrie; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
