Jeanette Edge, age 77, of Grapeland, Texas passed away on January 2, 2009 at her home. Burial in Davis Cemetery is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Grapeland. She was born October 18, 1931 in Slaton, Texas, the daughter of the late Eva Mae and Earl Johnson. She was a graduate of Lubbock High School. She married Harman Edge on May 29, 1949 in Lubbock, Texas. The Edges moved to Grapeland in 1984, returning to her husband's family farm. Mrs. Edge was a member of Sunset Christian Church, where she served as pianist for many years. She is survived by her husband, Harman Edge; children, Carma E. and Mike Weinman, and Eddie and Peggy Edge; grandchildren, Geoff Weinman, Ashley and Shawn Franklin, Stuart Weinman, and Chelsea Edge; and brother, Jimmy and Nancy Johnson.
