Janice Johnson Ellis of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away at Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg, on Friday, Jan 17, 2014, at the age of 76 years.
She was born Sept. 3, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Frank P. Johnson and Helen M. Waitt Johnson.
Janice is survived by two sons, two daughters and spouses: Kerry and Patsy Ellis of San Marcos, Kathy and Clive Friedrich of Fredericksburg, Kenny and Kasie Ellis of Midlothian, and Kim Meaux of San Antonio.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Marlene Johnson of Georgetown; one sister, Joyce Johnson of Fredericksburg, and very special friends, Joe and Tinker Foster of Harper.
Graveside services and interment were held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 2 p.m., in the Greenwood Cemetery, Fredericksburg, with Rev. Pam Traver officiating.
Visitation was held Monday evening, Jan. 20, in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home.
Arrangements were under the direction of Schaetter Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.
