Willia Grey Johnson was born in Feb. 1905 in San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas to James Wesley Johnson and Annie Dee Houghton of San Angelo Texas. For some years she owned and operated a small nursing home that she started when her mother first needed assistance with every day living. She was a true public servant, always helping someone. She died in 1965 in Johnson County Texas and is buried next to her husband. Her nickname was Cowboy, because she would love to clean house in her prettiest dress and cowboy boots! She was a very loving , resourceful woman, who taught her children to be strong, independent, caring people, just as she was. She was greatly loved and admired by her family.
