Mrs. D.B. Barber, 36, who had been suffering the past eight months with cancer, died at her home in Cooter Monday morning. The deceased was born at Eaton, Tenn., and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson. She is survived by the husband, two sons, Johnson and Ralph, and other close relatives. The Barbers had been residents of Cooter for the past four years, moving here from Tennessee.
The body was taken by the German Undertaking Co., to Eaton, Tenn, and laid to rest in the family cemetery. Short services were held at the grave.
