ARVEL JOHNSON HOLDENVILLE — Services for Arvel Johnson, 50, Torrence, Calif., are pending. He died Friday in Torrence following a short illness and an operation.
Johnson, a long-time resident of Holdenville, worked in the oilfields here, before moving to Calif. He was the son of the late Rev. C. C. Johnson, who was pastor of the Church of the Nazarene here, for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel, of California; three sons. Jack and Don Johnson, both of Texas; J. C. Johnson, Hobbs. N. M. and a nephew, Cecil Clift, Holdenville.
