Services for Lillie Mae Johnson of Itta Bena will be noon Saturday at Samuel Chapel United Methodist Church.
Ms. Johnson, 58, died of heart failure Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at her home.
She was a retired telephone engineer and a member of Samuel Chapel United Methodist Church.
Ms. Johnson is survived by her step-mother, Lonnie Mae Frederick of Itta Bena; one daughter, Jacqueline Jackson of West Point; two sons, David Johnson and Edward Johnson, both of Atlanta; three sisters, Dorothy Stockstill and Mary Ann Stockstill, both of Memphis, and August Jackson of Itta Bena; one brother, Booker T. Stockstill of Cincinnati, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Marjorie Walker will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Earnest Hudson, Sammie Lee Welty Jr., Bubba Matthews, Ladarius Crowder, Eddie Grace and John Flowers. Honorary pallbearers will be the United Methodist men.
Century Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Pitts Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Itta Bena.
