Catherine Sue DuVall, 77, of Russellville, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Russellville.

She was born July 9, 1934, in Russellville to James Earnest and Nona Ethel Kimbrell Johnson.

While living in Conway, Catherine attended New Life Church and volunteered at Soul Food Café Mission. After returning to Russellville in May of 2011, she has resided at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 30 years, Wayne DuVall; a brother, Gerald Johnson; and a grandson, J. J. Brooks.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Carroll and Karen DuVall of Conway and Ray DuVall of Atkins; a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Mike Brooks of Russellville; three grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie and Chris Beasley of Jenks, Oklahoma, Steve and Jamie DuVall of Conway and Pam and Dennis Ward of London; nine great-grandchildren, Meagan, Cate and Addison Beasley, all of Jenks, Carter, Baylyn, Mia and Madden DuVall, all of Conway and Andy and Ashlyn Ward, both of London; a brother, Charles Johnson of Atkins; a sister-in-law, Marie Burris of Russellville; and a host of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2012, at Happy Valley Assembly of God on Highway 326, north of Atkins, with the Rev. Chris Beasley and the Rev. Jimmy Lee Chronister officiating. Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery north of Atkins under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Burris, Paul Burris, Rick Johnson, Dennis Ward, Andy Ward and James May.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
