The funeral of Mrs. Charles Onley and Mrs. Wm. H. Johnson, colored, took place yesterday morning at 10 o'clock from their homes at Buckeystown. Double services were held at the Buckeystown church, of which both of the deceased were devout members. They were members of the same class. The services were conducted by Rev. W. H. Jones, assisted by Rev. Daniel Collins, a former pastor. The Laboring Sons and Daughters Society, of which both the deceased were members, attended in full regalia. A very large congregation of relatives and friends attended, many standing during the services. Among them was a large number from this city. The pallbearers for Mrs. Onley were John H. Brown, John A. Sooggins, Daniel Bell, Sylvester Brown, Henson L. Holland, Frank O. Makell, and those for Mrs. Johnson were John Nelson, Charles Whims, Richard Offerd, Frank Lee, William Thomas, Joseph Bell. Interment was made in Hope Hill Cemetery.
