Services will be conducted at Centuries Funeral Home Chapel for Elsie M. Denson, age 83 of Bossier City, La. on Thursday March 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. William Tice and Rev. Bob Lawless, Pastor and Associate Pastor of First Wesleyan Church of Bossier City where Mrs. Denson was a charter member. Interment to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Denson entered into rest on Monday March 20, 2006 after a brief illness. She was a retired nurse and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer E. Denson, Sr., and one son, Harlon Wiggins.
She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Wiggins and wife Geannie of Bossier City, La, and Roger Wiggins and wife Nancy of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Nellie Lundy, and Berlene Hill; three brothers, Billy, Robert, and John Johnson; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and the Chris Lamendola family who were like family to Mrs. Denson.
