"Jennie Bernice Jinkins, 83, of Perrysville died at 2 pm Saturday in her home.
A resident of Perrysville since 1968, she formerly resided on Rt. 2, Veedersburg, in the Cooper's Chapel area and at Catlin, Ill. She was a homemaker.
She was born Jan. 14, 1911, at Catlin to Oscar and Dottie Day Jones. On Nov. 17, 1928, she married Delbert Jinkins. He preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1991.
Survivors include one son, Delbert J. Jinkins of Rt. 2, Veedersburg; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Deloris) Fox of Green Ridge, Mo., and Susan Kucharczyk; two sisters, Thelma Tooker of Veedersburg and Mildred Crow of Danville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 8 pm Tuesday in Shelby Funeral home at Covington with the Rev. Colleen Harden officiating. Burial will be at 11 am Wednesday in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the services."
