Funeral services for Mrs. Woodrow Jilge, 58, of Forsyth, who died Sunday night in a Billings hospital, were held Friday at Graves Funeral Home in Miles City. The Reverend Leslie Payne Officiated. The burial was in the Custer County Cemetery.
She was born Iola Mae Stevens in Rockford, Iowa, October 22, 1909, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Stevens.
She moved to Montana in 1916 with her parents and settled in the Epsie community near Broadus.
She was married to Woodrow Jilge Jr. in 1940 and they ranched near Forsyth.
Surviving are the widower; two sons, Woodrow Jilge Jr. and Charles Kemp, both of Billings; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard Gasaway, Forsyth; Mrs. Howard Holman, Volborg and Mrs. Joe Zawada, Miles City; two brothers, Amos Stevens, Miles City and Harold Stevens, Missoula and 15 Grandchildren.
