Evelyn P. Berg, 61, 1204 W. 15th St., died thursday at her home after a long illness. A lifetime resident of Muncie, she was a waitress at Pastime Bar and several other local bars and restaurants for 25 years. She was a member of Gethsemane Apostolic Church and attended Royerton Schools.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; a daughter;
Her husband, Virgil Berg, died in 1982. A brother, Ernest Jett, and a sister, Thelma Jett, are deceased.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Entombment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling will begin at noon Monday at the mortuary.
