FRANCES JETER, 75 of Angleton, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010.
The family of Mrs. Jeter will welcome visitors to Palms Funeral Home in Angleton on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10th at Palms Funeral Home with Bob Sinclair officiating. Burial will follow in Sandy Point Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Tommy Jeter, Morgan Pate, Lake Jeter, Christopher Jeter, Stevie Ray Jeter, Pablo Andrade, Gary Surgener and Randy Miller. Honorary pallbearers are Ryan Heath, Ricky Frazier, Jr. and Cole Dishongh.
Frances grew up in Houston, TX and graduated from Reagan High School. She stood by the love of her life; Brook Ercell Jeter while he went to college, then started their next chapter of life in Angleton, 57 years ago. Frances loved the Brazoria County Fair and 4-H. She was a 4-H leader for 35 years for the Angleton Willing Workers. Animals and children were her life. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church. She owned and operated, Jeter's Old World Antiques & Gifts for 30 years. The best part about the shop; she loved the customers and enjoyed visiting. She loved her babies, Pumpkin, Buddy, Honey and Pavlie.

Mrs. Jeter was preceded in death by her husband, Brook Ercell Jeter; parents, Thomas & Mollie Hofmann; and an infant brother. Survivors include her son, Brook E. Jeter, III of Angleton and Tommy Jeter and his wife Sandi of Lake Jackson; daughter, Shari Jeter of Angleton; sister, Geraldine Frazier of Sugarland; niece, Kathy Heath and husband, Todd and their children, Ryan and Brittany of Sugar Land; grandchildren, Morgan Pate and Brittany Hall and Meagan Pate, Lake, Harley, Stevie Ray, Sheyenne, Jett and Christopher Jeter.
A special thanks to Meagan, Chanda and Kiley for entertaining and caring for Ma and the Angleton Visiting Nurses and Dr. Mikkilineni.
In lieu of normal remembrances, please make memorial donations to the Brazoria County Fair Scholarship Fund.
