BRISTOL, Va. Linda Jessee Banner, age 69, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014. Linda was born August 6, 1945 in Lebanon, Va., she was the daughter of the late Foster Jessee and the late Marie Snead Jessee. Linda had lived in Lebanon until she moved to Bristol, Va. a few years ago. She was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. Linda is survived by her daughter, Celeste Banner and special friend Jeff Johnson, Kingsport, Tenn.; and one sister, Lisa Jessee Skeens and fiance, David Alexander, Bristol, Va.. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with the Dr. Heath Kahlbau officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the West Hill Cemetery in Lebanon. Family will serve as pallbearers.
