South Sioux (IA) Eagle May 19, 1927 A resident of Dakota county for more than 50 years, Mrs Alice M Bolster of Homer, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Will Blacketer, at Dakota City, Neb., following a lingering illness of several months. She was 72 years old. Born in Denmark in 1854, Mrs Bolster came to this country when 18 years old. For many years she had conducted a millinery shop in Homer. Two weeks ago, Mrs Bolster was in her shop when it was wrecked by an explosion in an office in the same building but she was uninjured. Her daughter was severely burned. Mrs Bolster was ill at the time, suffering from heart disease, but was removed from the wrecked building and a week later taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs Will Blacketer, of Dakota City. Survivng are her daughter, Mrs Will Blacketer, three sisters, Mrs Peter Anderson of Sioux City, Mrs C P Jochimsen and Miss Marie Johnson, of Los Angeles, and two brothers, Andrew Johnson, of Sioux City, and John Johnson, of Los Angeles. Funeral services will be held in the Methodist church in Homer at 2 o'clock, Friday afternoon.
