|Death: ||May 26, 1910|
Christine Jensen, wife of W. J. Baker, was born in 1878 near Kearney, Nebr. On June 14th, 1898 she was married to Warren J. Baker, their home at that time was in Spencer, Nebr. Three children, one boy now ten years of age, and two girls eight and five years, were born to them. About six years ago the family moved to this county, the first four or five years they resided on a farm in Cleveland precinct and since that they have lived here in Dannebrog.
Besides her husband and three children, Mrs. Baker leaves an aged mother, two sisters and four brothers to mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was a hard worker, a good neighbor and was very highly respected by a host of friends and acquaintances. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor camp, and the members of that order took charge of the funeral, which was very largely attended. Rev. Pedersen preached a very sympathetic funeral sermon.
It seems strange that so young and healthy a person should be taken away so sudden from a home and the loving husband and children.
We join the many friends in extending heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
