Albert Erland Jensen, 84, the son of Soren E. and Bertina (Christensen) Jensen, was born May 23, 1918, at Nora. He died Oct 31, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kan.

He attended Sunnyview Country School near Nora.

He was married June 18, 1944, to Selma L. Munk at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Staplehurst, Neb.

They made their first home on a farm southwest of Ruskin. In 1952
they bought and moved to a farm east of Hardy. For health reasons
they sold the farm and moved to Superior in 1979.

He was active at Bethany Lutheran Church, Ruskin, and St. Paul's
Lutheran Church, Hardy. He attended church activities at the Brandon Woods in Lawrence, Kan.

He enjoyed farming and raising livestock, the outdoors and baseball.

Albert and Selma were honored on their 50th wedding in June, 1994, with an open house hosted by their children, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife and a brother, Alvin.

He is survived by one son, Timothy, Lawrence, Kan.; three daughters,
Mrs. Tom Sinclair (Jane), Springdale, Ark., Diane Jensen, Hurst, Texas, and Marlene Jensen, Lawrence, Kan.; four grandchildren; one brother, Harvey, Omaha; and two sisters, Eva Nelson, Havre, Mont.,
and Mrs. Ralph Miller (Esther) Wahoo.

Services were held Monday from the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hardy,
with Parish Ministry Associate Connie Raess officiating.

Interment was in Spring Creek Cemetery, Ruskin.

Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, was in charge of arrangements.
