Funeral services for Dania B. Hundtoft, 87, were held Monday, March 15, 2004, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Mrs. Hundtoft died Friday, March 12, at Carter House in Blair.
Dania B. Hundtoft was born Feb. 26, 1917, to the Rev. Peter C. and Kirsten M. (Schmidt) Jensen in Pocatello, Idaho. She was confirmed in the Pella Lutheran Church in Sidney, Mont.
After graduating from Sidney High School, she attended LPN school for one year. She worked as a nurse for many years in Montana, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair, and, most recently, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.
On June 25, 1943, she married Tony Hundtoft in Sidney, Mont. The couple had four children.
She was a member of the Monday Afternoon Club, the Extension Club and WMS.
She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, friends, and church. Cherished memories include visits over coffee, bargain shopping, sharing music, and attending activities with friends and family.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law, daughter and fiancée, sister, Elleanora Plugge of Blair, and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, in 1961; daughter, Ruth Ann; brother, Ansgar Jensen; sisters, Ingrid Matzen and Bertha Olsen, and great-grandson, Evan Antony Betts.
