Ada Alice Jennings was born April 2, 1886 the daughter of James Gideon and Mary Frances Barrow Jennings in Girard, Illinois. She married Seaford Abraham Avers February 1918. Ada went to be with the Lord on April 4, 1964 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband: Seaford, her son: Glen (Betty) Avers, and two daughters Aileen (Wendell) Fletcher, and Wilda (Clyde) Rayburn, two brothers: William Jennings of Palmyra and Lawrence Jennings of Girard, two sisters: Lula Dalby of Springfield and Ora Niemeyer of Lincoln, and five grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother Irving Jennings; three sisters Ona Jennings, Lena Hopson, and Lethie Molen.
Ada spent her lifetime as a farmer's wife in Nuckolls County, Nebraska (near Davenport). She devoted her time to her family and was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
