Wade Hampton Jennings, 83, of North Tazewell, died Wednesday, November 8, 1995, in a Roanoke hospital. Born on May 20, 1912, in Horsepen, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Sophoir Presley Jennings. He was a member of the Adria Advent Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth L. Jennings. Survivors include two daughters, Pam J. McGlothlin of Roanoke and Betty J. Surface of Marion; one son, Louis W. Jennings of Reston; one sister, June Tobler of North Tazewell, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 1995, at Peery and St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, with the Rev. Don Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, November 10, 1995.
