LaVern Frank, 77, Clay City, IL, died June 6, 1990 at the Odd Fellows Rebekah Home in Mattoon, IL.

Mrs. Frank was born January 4, 1913 in Sailor Springs, IL, the daughter of Dave and Drussilla Bryan Jenkins. She married Robert Frank in 1933 and he died in Clay City in 1987.

She and her husband operated a restaurant in Sailor Springs several years ago. She was a member of Clay City Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include three sons, Donald, Carol, and Gary Frank; one daughter, Linda Wright; one sister, Grace Kirkwood; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and one brother.

Services were held at the Hosselton, Bookhout, Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City.

Burial was in the Smith Cemetery in rural Clay City.
