ORANGE CITY, Iowa - Mrs. Jessie Jeltema, 82, of Orange City died Monday in a nursing home in Orange City after a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. John Hellenga will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Van Gelder Funeral Home in Orange City.

Mrs. Jeltema, the former Jessie Jasper, was born Feb. 14, 1903, at Orange City and was a lifelong area resident. She married John Jeltema Feb. 26, 1925, in Orange City. He died July 7, 1978. In 1979 she became a resident of Pioneer Home and in 1982 moved to Heritage House.

Mrs. Jeltema was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church and former member of Faith, Hope and Love Circle, Ladies Zangkoor, Ladies Aid UW Koningkryk and Monica Society.
