Clarence O. Jelleff, 87, a former resident of Jay county, died at 4 p.m. Friday at the Lehman nursing home in Berne. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Jelleff was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Berne.
He was married to Nadine Lehman on August 4, 1946 and she died Feb. 26, 1967. Surviving are the mother-in –law, Mrs. Ida Lehman of Berne; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Forrest Sprunger of Berne; Mrs. Ivan Ault of Berne; Mrs. Verlin Kimmel of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Clara Lehman of Berne; Miss Melva Lehman of Canada, and one brother-in-law, Peter Lehman of Berne.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Williamson & Spencer funeral home in Portland. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Green Park cemetery, Portland.
