Ora Jeffreys "Jeff" Chamblee, 88, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2013 at the Oaks of Mayview.
Jeff was born in Franklin County on November 25, 1924 to the late Marion Jeffreys and Beatrice Strickland Jeffreys.
She graduated from Bunn High School. She later married the love of her life, the late Philip Edward Chamblee. Together they owned and operated Jeff Chamblee's Florist and Gifts. She also worked for Johnson Jewelers for many years. Jeff was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm, Friday, March 22, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2100 Noble Road, Raleigh, NC 27608 with Reverend Steve Tillis officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30 to 1:45pm prior to the funeral.
Entombment: Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 809 W. Gannon Avenue, Zebulon, NC 27597

Son-In-Law: Mike Turner of Raleigh; Granddaughters: Jennifer Kay Bocock and her husband, Chris of Knightdale,Amanda Fay Turner of Raleigh;
Great-Grandchildren: Eddie, Philip and Micheal;
Great-Great Grandchildren: Hunter, Gemma and Bailey
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Edward Chamblee, March 19, 1989; her daughter, Belinda Chamblee Turner.
