Ada Quakenbush Boldrey, 96 died 26 January 1982 in Ball Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Niles Twp. but lived in Blackford Co. most of her life (Niles Twp. is in the NW corner of Delaware Co.) Mrs. Boldrey married Frank Quackenbush in 1910 and lived on Ritter Pike until his death in 1957. In 1962 she married Charles Boldrey and lived in Royerton until 1977 when she became a resident of Albany Nursing Care Inc. She was a member of Mount Carmel Methodist Church and Eaton Chapter of War Mothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E. S. (Helen) Castor, Arlington Heights, IL, and Mrs. Irene Langdon, Hartford City; on son, James Quackenbush, Hartford City; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchlodren. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
