A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she died Friday in a Bridgeport Hospital. She was born March 12, 1911 in Bryson.
Mrs. Allen's parents moved from Bryson to Bridgeport in 1917. Mrs. Allen attended Bridgeport Schools and earned a teaching degree from Denton.
Survivors include her husband Hershal Allen of Bridgeport; one brother Temple Thomas Jarnagin of Wildorado, Texas, and one sister, Ima Jarnagin Stege of Portland Ore. Other survivors are two nieces, Marjorie Kinikin of Germany and Karen Cantrell of Fort Worth and other nieces and nephews.
