Ermalinda was preceded in death by her husband, Roque Chávez. Ermalinda is survived by her children, Rosie Mondragón and her husband, Ignacio, Ologio Chávez, Philip Chávez, Luis Chávez and his wife, Kathy, Manuel Chávez and his wife, Jessie, Hazel Urias and her husband, David, and Billy Chávez and his wife, Casla, brother, Leonard Jáquez, sister, Lupe Jáquez and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Chávez will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Salazar & Sons Mortuary at 10:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Placitas Cemetery.
