MANSFIELD ~ "All I've ever wanted to do in life is what the Lord wants me to do." Betty Craze loved life and loved people and loved the Lord. She knew that as she helped those in need, she was ministering "as unto the Lord". A longtime Mansfield resident, Betty went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning January 20, 2010 from MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was 73.
Born Elizabeth Mae Jamison February 29, 1936 in Camden, NJ, to Harry K. and Anne Mae (Snyder) Jamison, she came to Mansfield at a young age and was graduated from Madison High School in 1955.
For years she worked as a cook with Winchester Terrace Nursing Home.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Cindy Duffner and Cathy Craze both of Mansfield, Carolyn Furry of Covington, GA, and Carla & Greg Newman of Ontario; her son and daughter-in-law Charles "Ernie" & Jada Craze of Mansfield; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Ralph & Carol Jamison in Missouri, Tad & Janie Thornton, John & Sharon Ellis and Michael & Joy Snyder all of Mansfield, her twin sister and a brother-in-law Ruth & Ralph Amick of Mansfield; and numerous nieces/nephews, and her cat and best friend Ashley, the love of her life.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Eugene Craze in 1970.

The family celebration of the life of Elizabeth Craze will be held in the community room at Berean Baptist Church 2145 Middle-Bellville Road, Mansfield, Ohio, Saturday, January 23, 2010 12:00-2:00 pm.
