Anne Michele Jamar age 54, of Edina, died early Tuesday morning, January 24, 2006 at N.C. Little Memorial Hospice after battling Ovarian Cancer continuously for 11 years. She was born in Ishpeming, MI and grew up in Hibbing, MN where she graduated from Hibbing High School in 1969. She received her degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado in 1973 and then worked for Conwed Corporation in St. Paul, MN until 1975. She then worked for Digital Equipment Corporation in Minneapolis, MN and Maynard, MA until 1979. She married Richard Allen Rislove from Preston, MN in Hibbing, MN in 1979 and worked as Vice President of Marketing for ADMINS, Inc. in Cambridge, MA until 1981 when she went back to work for Digital Equipment Corporation in Merrimack, NH. In 1984 the Risloves moved to San Antonio, TX and then, in 1986 to Austin, TX. Anne founded AR Technologies in 1987 and worked in computer consulting while managing Hill Country Business Services for 111 companies in the Lakeway and Austin, TX area. She was active in the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement. She also was actively involved with church activities in New Hampshire, San Antonio and Austin, working with several children's choirs and Pre-School and Sunday School programs at the Methodist Church and the Ecumenical Church of Lakeway, TX, as well as being a Trustee and District Music Ministry Delegate for the Methodist Church. She was an active member of many boards over the years including the Center for the Education for Social Sciences and the Center for the Education of Mathematics for Elementary Students. In 1991, she moved with her family to Edina, MN where she continued volunteering and managing her business ventures and serving on various committees and boards-most recently as the Vice President for the Women's Health Fund Board, formerly an affiliate of the Minnesota Medical Foundation. She is survived by her husband, Richard Allen Rislove, daughter Elizabeth Rislove, Berkeley, CA, son Benjamin Rislove, Edina, MN, her mother, Lorraine Jamar, Hibbing, MN, and three brothers; Steve (Shelley) of Columbia, MD, Tom (Sue) of Hibbing, MN and Jeff (Laura) of Eden Prairie, MN.
