Alma Brooks, age 87 of the Cove Hollow Community of Edmonson County, passed away at 4:05am Wednesday at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield. She was a daughter of the late Roscoe Jaggers and Donna Minton Jaggers and the wife of the late Nelson Jaggers.
Ms. Brooks was a housewife and a member of the Cove Hollow United Baptist Church.
She is survived by: 1 daughter-Brenda Walls & husband Tom of Taylorsville; 1 son-Danny Brooks & wife Mary of Cub Run; 1 brothers-Lawrence Jaggers of Louisville; 1 sister-Avis Brooks of Louisville; 9 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a son Steve Brooks, by 4 brothers Conard, Roy, Coy, Lois & 5 sisters-Joyce Crowder, Dean Sanders, Hazel Bennett, Connie White Gladys Hacelip.
Funeral services for Alma Brooks will be 11am Friday at the Cove Hollow United Baptist Church with burial in the Cove Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8pm at the Sego Funeral Home and Friday after 9am at the Cove Hollow United Baptist Church.
