Memorial services for Bud 'Tim' Jaggers will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Kirk Funeral Home Chapel, preceding funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Christ Temple C.M.E. Church, 2802 N. Lewis Ave., in Tulsa.
Born Jan. 9, 1951, in Ardmore, to Larmon ³Diddy² and Leola Berryman Jaggers, he died July 16, 1999, in Minneapolis, Minn. He was preceded in death by a brother, J.D.; and two sisters, Carol Jean Jefferson and Little Leola Jaggers.
Jaggers attended Dunbar Elementary School and graduated from Douglass High School in 1969, where he was quarterback for the Douglass Dragons in 1968-69, and participated in basketball and baseball. He also served as a caddy at Dornick Hills Country Club as a teen. In 1973, he graduated from Langston University with a degree in business administration.
He and his wife, Grace, lived in Minneapolis, where he was a computer salesman. He also had attended Saint Mary Missionary Baptist and Corinth Baptist churches.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Mechelle Jaggers, Oklahoma City; six sisters, Mae Helen Kirk, Tulsa, Helen Satterfield, Camden, N.J., Elen Smith, Sacramento, Calif., Omega Gilbert, Los Angeles, and Lou Von Agers and Geraldine Bryant, Ardmore; and three brothers, Terry Jaggers, Tulsa, Stoney Jaggers, Oklahoma City, and Ray Jaggers, Prague.
