Mr. Jacoby died Oct. 5 apparently of a heart attack at age 77.
He was born Jan. 6, 1918, in Lincoln, Neb., and moved to Portland in 1925.
A veteran of the U.S. Army Air Forces, he was a cabinetmaker for Sepcialty Wood Co. and retired in 1980 after 25 years.
In 1946, he married Doris N. Stone.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Patricia Becknell of Milwaukie; sister, Molly Harnett of Aloha; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
