Mrs. Chester W. Otte nee Lulie Ernestine Jacoby of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Knopp's Assisted Living in Fredericksburg on Monday, October 21st, 2013 at the age of 94 years. She was born July 26th, 1919 in Gillespie County, Texas the daughter of Max W. Jacoby and Lena Birck Jacoby. Baptized, October 3rd, 1920 and Confirmed April 28th, 1935 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall, Texas, married Chester William Otte on March 28th, 1940. Lulie worked for Market Produce for twenty plus years, member of Holy Ghost Church, Holy Ghost Quilters Group.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Chester and two sisters, Addie Jacoby and Frankie Lina, Mrs. Willie F. Schaefer, one brother, Clarence Jacoby
Mrs. Otte is survived by two sons and spouses, Kenneth & Marjorie Otte and Calvin & Brenda Otte all of Stonewall, five grandchildren, one step grandson and six great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25th, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, with Pastor Bobby Vitek officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Retirement & Debt Fund, Meals on Wheels, or to the charity of their choice.
Visitation for Lulie Otte will be on Thursday from 4 to 7:00 P. M. and on Friday from 7:30 to 9:15 A. M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg and from 10 to 11:00 A. M. in the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg.
