OBITUARY-
ADAMS -- The funeral for Frances G. Jacobsen will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Le Roy Lutheran Church, with the Revs. Thomas Kolden and Russell Jacobsen co-officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jacobsen, 85, of Adams, a former Le Roy-area farm homemaker, died Friday at Cedar Court Apartments in Adams.

Frances Gertrude Way was born Oct. 30, 1914, in Lohrville, Iowa, and graduated from high school in Albert Lea in 1932. On Sept. 1, 1933, she married Einar Bernard Jacobsen in Northwood, Iowa. Her husband died in September 1983. Mrs. Jacobsen was a member of Le Roy Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and playing board games.
Survivors include four sons, Russell of Plum City, Wis., Vern of Prescott, Wis., LaVerne of Owatonna and Robert of Le Roy; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Way of Rochester; and a brother, Melvin Way of Albert Lea. A grandson preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hindt-Hutchins Funeral Home in Le Roy and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
