She was born September 16, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of Lester W. and Helen J. Johnson Jackson.
Mrs. Barton was a former substitute teacher for Burgettstown Area High School, Washington County, Pa.
She was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital in Cumberland, Md., and a member of Song Bird Singers.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Cumberland, and a member of Salvation Army Auxiliary.
