Ethel Littlepage Jackson Aharn, widow of John Edgar Bass Ahern, died June 20, 2011. She was born November 3, 1909 at Lester Manor, King William County, Virginia, daughter of Thomas Pugh Jackson and Lucie Ammon Littlepage. She was a member of Hanover Avenue Christian Church, also Colonial Dames XVII Century, Bermuda Hundred Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and Lee Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy. She is survived by a daughter, Amonette Ahern Osborne; one granddaughter, Susan Osborne Dawson; also four great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters. Her family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Avenue, where a funeral service will be held 12 noon Thursday. Interment will follow 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery in Moseley, Virginia.
