Helen Louise Jackson, 72, Brookfield, died at 1:04 p.m. Monday, Jan 8, 1996 at Liberty, Mo. Hospital.
She was born Dec. 31, 1923 at Johnston City, ILl the daughter of Carl and Jewell Fowler Barnes. She and Robert Leo Jackson were married June 21, 1942, at Bucklin. They had 2 sons.
Mrs. Jackson lived in the New Boston and Bucklin communities for about 21 years, before she moved to Brookfield 24 years ago. She was a member of Brookfield United Methodist Church, Trinity Center. She was lead person in the camera room at Walsworth Publishing Company, Marceline, before she retired Jan 1, 1995.
Surviving are her husband of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Carl Robert and Julia Jackson, Bucklin; a brother, Glen Barnes, Johnston City; two sisters, Rosalie Kerr, Muscatine, Iowa and June Marks, Marion, Ill.; two grandchildren and their spouses, Cindy and Doug Brinker, Kenner, La., and Rob and Katie Jackson, Bucklin, and three great-grandchildren, Steven Douglas and Daniel Robert Brinker, both of Kenner, and Alex Nicole Jackson, Bucklin.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Darrel Keith Jackson.
Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, northwest of Bucklin.
