JACKSON, Mrs. Myrtis (Hubert) of Taylor. Age 51. Died 11/28/1970 (Sat.) in Johns Community Hospital, Taylor after she was in a head-on collision in the 500 block of E. 4th Street, Taylor. Services held (Monday) from Phillips & Luckey Funeral Chapel, Rockdale. Burial in Salty Cemetery. Revs. Nelson Herod and W.A. Tober officiated.

She was BORN about 1919. Mrs. Jackson and Ronald J. Paris were enroute to their jobs at White Auto Store where she was assistant manager. Driver of the other vehicle was Vincent Lopez of Lubbock. His passenger, Luis G. Guaredo of Temple, was injured and hospitalized at Scott & White, Temple. Paris hospitalized at Taylor. Lopez not injured. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Thorndale.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Hubert Jackson of Thorndale; mother, Mrs. Ira Jack Bounds of Rockdale; 3 sons, Dwayne Jackson of New Braunfels, Darryl Jackson of Taylor and Lynn Jackson of Thorndale; 3 daughters, Mrs. Lester (Kathryn Ann) Grisham of Thorndale, Mrs. Jack (Frances Gail) Spates of Houston and Renee Jackson of Thorndale; 3 sisters, Mrs. Roy Jackson of Galena Park, Mrs. M.F. Frederick of Houston and Mrs. M.F. Jackson of Rockdale; 3 brothers, Bud Bounds of Seguin, Mode Bounds of Parish, LA., J. Woody Bounds of Rockdale; 11 grandchildren, number of nieces and nephews.
