Son of Edward Jackson and Nina Catherine "Kate" Smith. He married Mary Elizabeth "Molly" McDonald 4 February 1902.

OBITUARY, The Cherokee Daily Times & Chief, 24 September 1951, page 6: Will Jackson, 83, of 529 West Cherry, died Monday morning at 2:30. He was a pioneer resident of Cherokee County and formerly lived in the Meriden vicinity. Mr. Jackson is survived by one niece, Loretta McDonald, who had lived with the Jackson throughout her childhood; one sister, Mrs. Peter Dunn and two brothers, john and Thomas Jackson, all of Meriden. One sister-in-law, Mrs. Alfred holt of Cherokee, also survives in addition to several nephews and nieces. Mr. Jackson’s wife preceded him in death in 1921. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 9 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, Father L.J. Lynch in charge. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Rosary will be said tonight and Tuesday evening, also at 8:30 in Schmidt Funeral Home where the body will remain until time for services.
