Azie Jackson Graham, age 98 of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
She was born April 6, 1914 in Bullard, Texas to the late Edward Alfred Jackson and Mae Bell Stripling Jackson. She worked during WWII at the local cotton mill and later as an owner/operator of a laundromat. She was Methodist by faith.
In addition to her parents, Edward Alfred Jackson and Mae Bell Stripling Jackson, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Chestley Graham, daughter, Helen Graham Davis, brothers: Harley Jackson and Matt Jackson and sister, Elsie Jackson.
Survivors are her grandchildren and spouse: Janie and Len Gray, Susan "Woody" Prince, Phyliss Cohen, and Jack Dempsey Floyd; great grandchildren: Parish Lovvorn, Jason Hallman, Matt Gray, Jimmy Prince, Maranda Floyd, Anna Burton and Jack Floyd, Jr.; great great grandchildren: Cameron Lovvorn, Katelyn Lovvorn, Spencer Gray, Jake Hallman, John Gray, Abbie Hallman, Sam Hallman, Madison Prince and Chase Humphries.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 3PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Johnnie White officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens, 581 Veterans Memorial Hwy SE, Mableton, GA 30126 with Matt Gray, Jimmy Prince, Travis Lovvorn, Cody Burton, J.D. Floyd, Cameron Lovvorn and Jason Hallman, serving as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends, Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 7-9PM at the funeral home.
